Job summary

Sentara in Virginia Beach seeks an experienced RVT educator and clinical instructor for the Peripheral Vascular Lab service line. You will teach, coach, and mentor staff and students, document progress, and develop competency-based assessments.

You will maintain vascular protocols, contribute to leadership activities, and support daily operations while applying the latest vascular technologies to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• Five years experience as Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) required.
• Associates degree required.
• RVT Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct classroom and clinical sessions for the Sentara Peripheral Vascular Lab service line.
• Coach and mentor on the clinical unit; document student progress and audits.
• Develop outcome-based tests and competency assessments.
• Participate in test development and staff competency evaluations.
• Contribute to leadership team and daily operations; ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
