Job summary

Sentara Health Plans is seeking an experienced instructor to lead classroom and clinical instruction for the Sentara Peripheral Vascular Lab service line in Virginia Beach. You will teach, coach and mentor on the latest technologies, document student progress, and participate in evaluation and competency testing.

The role also involves maintaining noninvasive vascular protocols, contributing to leadership team activities, and supporting daily operations to meet quality and regulatory

Qualifications

• Five years experience as Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) required.
• Education Associates requried.
• Certification/Licensure RVT Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coach on vascular studies and maintain noninvasive vascular protocols.
• Document student progress and complete evaluation activities.
• Participate in quality control, credentialing, and staff development activities.
