Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology with significant liver transplant experience.

The Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center is seeking a full time Vascular and Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist to work in the General, Vascular and Transplant (GVT) division, and join the liver transplant anesthesiology team. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology and have significant experience and expertise in the field of liver transplant anesthesiology.

• Provide clinical care to colorectal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, vascular, urology and transplant patients.
• Commit to research and resident education.
• Contribute to the GVT division’s nationally recognized Enhanced Recovery pathways and clinical research and education.
• Work with a liver transplant team of around 10 members, caring for about 200 liver transplant patients per year.
• Opportunity to staff the world‑renowned Preoperative and Surgical Screening (PASS) Clinic.
