Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Vascular Access Specialist (RCP) to perform invasive procedures and provide patient care in acute and critical care settings. You will support physicians, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure sterile technique across line insertions.

Requires AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy education, minimum 3 years RT experience, and vascular access training. Night shifts, full-time schedule, and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy (AAS preferred).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Minimum 3 years hospital critical care experience.
• Advanced skills in critical care and in-depth knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring.
• Successful completion of extensive in-house vascular access training.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with acute illness or cardiopulmonary compromise.
• Perform invasive and critical monitoring procedures in the critical care setting.
• Demonstrate mastery of sterile technique for line insertions and monitoring.
• Instruct and monitor Residents’ training in central line insertion and sterile technique.
• Provide support for equipment and collaborate with physicians and staff.
