Job summary

Lahey Clinic is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for Vascular Access, 32hrs, Day Shift, to provide specialized vascular access consultation across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

The RN will assess patients, recommend devices, and perform insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vascular access lines, including PIVs, USGIVs, PICCs, ports, and other devices, while collaborating with physicians and nursing teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse with active MA RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Emergency/critical care experience preferred; none required.

Responsibilities

• Provide vascular access consultation for inpatient and outpatient populations throughout Lahey Clinic.
• Assess patients and recommend appropriate vascular access devices based on clinical needs.
• Insert and manage peripheral IVs, ultrasound-guided IVs, PICCs, ports and related devices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and care for vascular access devices and document in EMR.
