St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Vascular Access Registered Nurse for the Anderson Campus. The role focuses on assessing and managing vascular access devices, delivering patient-centered care, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position is part-time (4 hours per week) with responsibilities including PICC/midline placement, port and dialysis catheter access, and staff education to maintain up-to-date venous access skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN License required.
• Successful completion of PICC and Midline training.
• Implanted port and Dialysis catheter competency validation on a periodic basis.
• VA-BC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess IV access suitability for medications, diagnosis and plan of care.
• Provide consultation and staff education on vascular access devices.
• Round on nursing units to identify patients needing long-term vascular access.
• Troubleshoot issues related to vascular access devices; support staff with difficult access.
• Place PICCs, long-dwell midlines, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs.
