Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for Vascular Access on a per diem basis. The RN provides specialized vascular access services across inpatient and outpatient settings, including ultrasound-guided techniques and line management, floating across the hospital.

The ideal candidate holds a Massachusetts RN license with BLS and ACLS, plus at least one year of ED or critical care experience, enabling autonomous, consultative practice and commitment to high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved nursing school.
• Current MA RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.
• 1 year RN experience in ED/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide vascular access consultation for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Insert and manage peripheral IVs, USGIVs, PICCs, and IO devices.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot vascular access devices.
• Educate staff on device selection and care.
• Document procedures in the EMR.
