Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Access RN for a 13-week hospital assignment in the Boston area, with day/night rotation and Epic charting responsibilities.

Active Massachusetts RN license and 2+ years of vascular access are required, along with a current BLS. Travel nursing experience of 1 year is needed, and USGPIV/PICC know-how is preferred. Eligible local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• BlS certification current (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years vascular access experience.
• Minimum 1 year travel nursing experience.
• NURSYS and BON verification required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the IV Therapy unit of a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment with rotating day/night shifts.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Perform vascular access procedures including PICC troubleshooting and ultrasound-guided IV placement.
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed.
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is at least 60 miles from Boston, MA, at a reduced rate.
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration.
