Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Vascular Access Registered Nurse to support IV therapy and enteral nutrition, utilizing ultrasound guidance for peripheral and central access. Qualified candidates will hold a BSN and NC RN license, with preferred MSN and VA-BC/CRNI credentials within two years. Cross-training to serve surrounding facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure with NC Board of Nursing required.
• BSN within 4 years of hire (or enrolled in BSN/advanced program).
• Masters in Nursing preferred; Cortrak training preferred.
• NA - Transition/credentialing to advanced vascular access certifications (VA-BC or CRNI) within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care for IV therapy and enteral nutrition.
• Perform enteral feeding tube placement using electronic placement system.
• Provide education to patients and families on vascular access care.
• Collaborate with Mission Hospital teams across departments to ensure high-quality care.
