Job summary

The role requires prior RN experience and relevant certifications, with a schedule that includes 7:00am-7:00pm and weekends.

Qualifications

• Completed basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved by a state board of nursing.
• Holds or is entitled to hold a nursing diploma or degree.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses, organizes, and completes patient care with consideration for patient age, cultural and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process.
• Uses proper medical terminology.
• Addresses problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitates patient discharge through referrals and education resources, suitable to patient age and factors.
• Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate.
• Supports unit/hospital goals through PI activities and education.
