Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses, organizes, and completes patient care with consideration for age and culture.
• Documents steps of the nursing process using proper terminology.
• Addresses problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitates patient discharge through timely referrals and education resources.
• Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate.
• Supports unit/hospital goals through PI and education activities.
