Job summary

Grady Health System seeks a Vascular Access Supervisor to lead a team of RNs providing ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs, midline catheter placement, and difficult access consultation. You will oversee staffing, workflow, and clinical performance to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You will mentor staff, maintain competency, and drive education on device selection, maintenance, and complication prevention in collaboration with physicians and infection prevention.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• MSN preferred.
• Georgia RN license required.
• 2+ years direct nursing experience with clinical competence.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience required.
• MGNT – Vascular Access / VACC certified.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RN team delivering vascular access services.
• Oversee daily operations and workflow of the vascular access team.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and clinical guidance to staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and coverage for timely access requests.
• Monitor productivity, turnaround times and service levels.
• Lead quality improvement and education initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with INS and AVA guidelines.
