Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a compassionate RN to join the Vascular Access team at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. This on-site, part-time evening role covers 3:00pm–11:30pm once weekly with some weekends, 1x8 hr shift.

You will assess and meet patient needs, manage pain, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient-centered care. The role requires Missouri RN license or multi-state compact and at least one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN.
• One (1) year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient's condition and nursing needs, sets goals, and prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of the patient, including discharge planning.
