Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience coaching sports preferred.
• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
• Valid first aid certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for success.
• Serve as a role model promoting character, self-discipline and teamwork.
• Assist Head Coach with game techniques and strategic planning.
• Supervise staff and coordinate with athletic director and principals.
• Manage equipment inventory and ensure locker room and facilities are maintained.
• Assist with scheduling, transportation and tournament preparation.
