Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience coaching and knowledge of the sport preferred.
• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
• Valid first aid certificate required.
• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport (Girls Soccer).

Responsibilities

• Instruct and supervise staff; implement policies in the sports program.
• Coordinate scheduling, training, and game day operations with the athletic director and principal.
• Promote sportsmanship, character development, and student-athlete safety.
• Develop practice plans, game strategies, and evaluate team performance.
• Mentor student athletes and foster academic and athletic growth.
