Job summary

Tower Hill School in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Varsity Squash Head Coach for the 2026-2027 academic year to lead a competitive boys and girls program. The role includes coaching, team management, and oversight of sub-varsity, plus coordinating the squash coaching staff and contributing to admission functions.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of previous squash coaching experience at the high school, club, and/or college level.
• Well organized and effective communication skills.
• Ability to mentor student athletes and serve as a positive role model.
• Strong collaboration skills with fellow coaches and administrators.
• Ability to promote and generate excitement for the sport of squash.
• Support of student athletes’ efforts to pursue additional athletic opportunities at Tower Hill.
• Providing outreach to prospective student athletes.
• Assisting in supporting student athletes in the college recruiting process if they have the desire to compete at the next level.
• Attendance at all required professional development opportunities.
• Completing and/or assisting with all administrative coaching duties pertaining to practices and competitions, including equipment, uniforms, attendance, roster management, travel logistics.

Varsity Squash Head Coach

Tower Hill School is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Head Coach for Varsity Squash starting with the 2026-2027 academic year.

Tower Hill strives to build upon a competitive varsity boys and girls squash program that has achieved a high level of success in both team and individual competitions. Candidates are expected to have a thorough understanding of skill development and utilize coaching strategies that motivate players and build a positive team culture. In addition to coaching responsibilities and team management, the head coach assumes general oversight of sub-varsity, coordinates the squash coaching staff, and is expected to contribute in admission functions when necessary. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate the ways in which inclusive and equitable practices inform their approach to coaching and team building within the program.

This position is compensated with a stipend, and coaches are required to abide by the rules and regulations established by the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association as well as all Tower Hill School policies and procedures.
