Job summary

New York University is seeking an Assistant Varsity Coach for Men’s & Women’s Golf. The role supports recruiting, prospect evaluation, visit coordination, and compliance with NCAA regulations while assisting with practice planning and game strategies.

The successful candidate will help design skill development plans, deliver scouting reports, and contribute to overall program success. A Bachelor's degree is required with coaching/playing experience at the high school or college level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of coaching/playing experience at high school or college level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing recruiting plans and actively recruit/prospect student-athletes.
• Evaluate prospects and conduct recruitment visits and competition evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA Division I/II/III and UAA regulations in all recruitment efforts.
• Assist Head Coach with practice planning, game strategy and conditioning programs.
• Prepare scouting reports and develop skill development plans for athletes during practices.
