Job summary

Buffalo Public Schools is seeking a Varsity Coed Sideline Cheerleading Coach for PS 415 Middle Early College High School. The candidate will coach student-athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition.

Certification prerequisites include FIRST AID/CPR/AED; candidates may need to pursue NYS Coaching Certification pathways. Must be employed by the Board of Education per the master contract and collaborate with Athletics Director and Principal.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching cheerleading at various levels (club, high school, or college).
• Ability to teach and implement game strategies and conditioning.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to NFHS Coaches Code of Ethics.
• Oversee team conduct and philosophy of the athletic program.
• Be available for contests and practices during the season and supervise equipment and uniforms.
• Prepare schedules and coordinate with Athletic Director and Principal.
