Qualifications

• Coaching experience in cheerleading at club, select, modified, varsity or college level preferred.
• Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
• Must know the rules, regulations, strategies and techniques of the sport.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, parents and students.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the NFHS Coaches Code of Ethics.
• Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
• Be available for contests and practices at the start of the athletic season.
• Supervise use and inventory of equipment, uniforms and supplies.
• Prepare and submit a schedule of scrimmages and non-league contests to the Athletic Director.
