Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Cheerleading Junior Varsity Head Coach for the Hudson Public Schools starting on August 24, 2026. The primary responsibility will be to enhance athlete performance through motivation and guidance. Coaching experience at the high school level is preferred.

The position requires CPR/First Aid Certification and a CORI background check. The role also includes ensuring the physical demands of the job are met. Compensation is a one-time stipend following the season's completion.

Qualifications

• Complete knowledge of the sport and ability to teach and motivate student-athletes.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• Successful completion of Criminal Records Check (CORI) and fingerprints before start date.

Responsibilities

• Improve performance of athletes by motivating and instructing team members.
• Manage the sport’s team effectively.
• Ensure physical demands are met including lifting and effective communication.
