Phoenix Union High School District No. 210 is seeking a School Athletics Coach for Boys Track (Varsity) for Spring 2026-2027.

The position is seasonal with duties including supervising practices, games, and ensuring student safety and fair play at Betty Fairfax High School and district-wide events. The coach will uphold district policies, implement NO Pass/NO Play, and collaborate with district athletics staff to promote academic achievement andathletic participation.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a current CPR certification.
• Meet coaching qualifications, course requirements and certifications as required.
• Pass a district background investigation per PUHSD standards.

Responsibilities

• Educate students through interscholastic competition.
• Uphold district policies and NO Pass/NO Play guidelines.
• Ensure safety and welfare of participants in practice and travel.
• Develop strategies to encourage participation across athletic programs.
• Maintain accurate inventory and care of equipment.
• Supervise practices, competitions, and post-season events.
