Qualifications
- Age 21 years or older and eligible to coach in the district.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Must meet coaching qualifications and district criteria.
- Pass the required background check and fingerprint clearance.
- Be recommended by the Principal or designee and approved by Governing Board.
- Possess an active AZ Teacher or Substitute Certificate (Head Coach).
- Supervisor/admin approval as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Enforce federal, state and district rules and policies.
- Ensure safety and welfare of participants in practices and travel.
- Develop and implement strategies to encourage participation.
- Maintain equipment and inventory control.
- Supervise coaches and volunteers; ensure proper conduct.
- Schedule practices, games, and related events, within policy.
