Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior varsity coaching experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Supervisory and sports management experience.
• Clear criminal history check, physical, and drug test required; first aid training.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.
• Maintains accurate statistics, records, and results of the season.
• Enforces discipline and sportsmanship at all times.
• Upholds eligibility criteria for interscholastic competition in this sport.
• Motivates, guides, and mentors student-athletes.
• Collaborates with staff, students, parents, and community members.
• Communicates with athletes using Remind or Final Form platforms.
• Responsible for equipment maintenance and inventory.
