Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Supervisory and sports management experience.
• Clear criminal history check, physical, and drug test required; first aid training.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and maintain open communication with parents, student-athletes, and the community.
• Teach fundamental football skills and team concepts.
• Plan, organize, and execute off-season, summer, and pre-season training with conditioning knowledge.
• Interact positively with student-athletes of different ages and abilities, promoting character and integrity.
• Motivate, guide, and mentor student-athletes and oversee game-day operations.
• Coordinate setup and teardown for home football contests and assist with fundraising and booster activities.
• Assist Head Coach with equipment maintenance and inventory and promote school spirit.
