Job summary

Framingham Public Schools is seeking a Varsity Baseball Head Coach for Framingham High School starting Spring 2027. The AthleticCoach will provide strategic leadership, technical instruction, and mentorship to student-athletes, reporting to the Director of Athletics.

Emphasis is on safe, inclusive, and competitive experiences aligning with the district's mission and equity goals. The role requires 2–4 years coaching or playing experience at or beyond high school level, a high school diploma

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 2–4 years in playing and/or coaching the sport beyond high school.
• Language Proficiency: Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct training and guidance to student-athletes, focusing on skill mastery and performance improvement.
• Develop and execute practice schedules balancing individual and team development.
• Ensure safety and well-being following district health protocols and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with Director of Athletics on facility scheduling and transportation.
• Communicate team expectations and progress to stakeholders.
