Pottsgrove School District Athletic Supplemental is seeking a qualified Head Varsity Baseball Coach in Pottstown, PA, to lead the program from the 7-12 pipeline and supervise staff.

The role requires at least five years coaching experience at the high school level, strong knowledge of PIAA rules, and a proven track record in player development and leadership within a competitive athletic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience coaching interscholastic baseball at the high school level or above.
• Comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules, eligibility criteria, and Pioneer Athletic Conference guidelines.
• Prior experience as a Head Coach at the interscholastic high school level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Boys Varsity Baseball program, including practice planning, game strategy, and varsity roster selection.
• Maintain strict adherence to all rules, policies, and guidelines established by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC).
• Foster student-athlete academic success, sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership on and off the court.
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director regarding scheduling, facility use, transportation, and equipment inventory.
• Supervise sub-varsity coaching staff to ensure alignment across the entire 7-12 program pipeline.
