Job summary

North Central Area Schools is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Varsity Baseball Head Coach on a part-time basis. The coach will lead practices, teach skills, and foster sportsmanship and academic success among student-athletes.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities and a commitment to safety and positive role-model behavior within the school community.

Qualifications

• Previous baseball coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct practices and competitions.
• Teach fundamental and advanced baseball skills, strategies, and techniques.
• Promote a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, accountability, teamwork, and academic success.
• Provide appropriate supervision and ensure the safety of student-athletes.
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents/guardians, school administration, and athletic staff.
• Maintain and manage team equipment, uniforms, and facilities.
• Follow all North Central Area Schools, conference, and MHSAA rules and expectations.
• Serve as a positive role model and representative of North Central Area Schools.
