Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Varicent Developer to configure, maintain, and enhance the Varicent Incentive Compensation platform across multiple lines of business. The role focuses on incentive compensation delivery and administration with hands-on Varicent development, data imports, and scripting.

You will work with business and technology teams throughout the SDLC to support plan execution, reporting, and automated processes.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on Varicent development and configuration experience.
  • Experience configuring data imports, calculation logic, reporting, and workflows in Varicent.
  • Experience delivering incentive compensation processes within Varicent; module coverage not required.

Responsibilities

Varicent Developer - Incentive Compensation

Overview

Seeking an experienced Varicent Developer to support the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the Varicent Incentive Compensation platform. This role is focused specifically on Incentive Compensation delivery and administration across multiple lines of business.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Varicent development and configuration, including data imports, calculation logic, reporting, workflows, scheduling, and custom scripting. Candidates do not need experience with every Varicent module, but they must demonstrate strong experience supporting incentive compensation processes within Varicent. Varicent is commonly used to automate incentive compensation calculations, reporting, workflows, and compensation administration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, develop, and support Varicent Incentive Compensation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data import processes used to load compensation and performance data into Varicent.
  • Build, enhance, and troubleshoot compensation calculation logic and business rules.
  • Develop, maintain, and support reports, dashboards, and compensation outputs used by business stakeholders.
  • Configure and support workflow processes related to compensation administration and approvals.
  • Maintain and update scheduler jobs and automated processes supporting recurring compensation cycles.
  • Develop and support custom Python scripts used for automation, integrations, data transformations, and process enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data, calculation, reporting, and system performance issues.
  • Partner with business and technology teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support compensation plan execution and ongoing platform enhancements.
  • Support production compensation cycles, payout validation, and ongoing system maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $81.00/hr.
