The starting pay range for this position begins at $17.85/hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Reserve: a position working an average of 20 hours per week (anywhere between 40-999 hours per year).
The Van Shuttle Driver will provide courteous and safe transportation for those team members traveling to and from their work locations. This position will work to support employee transportation needs. This position requires an individual who is self‑motivated, has great time management skills, and who can work well under pressure. This individual must have a good driving record and must exhibit safe driving skills. All drivers must also exhibit patience, common sense and driving courtesy.
The Van Shuttle Driver must maintain a valid North Carolina Driver's License as 15‑passenger vans will be used to transport staff both on and off the Estate. A candidate with a valid Commercial Driver's License is a plus, but not necessary, as sometimes a larger shuttle may be needed. Once employed by the Biltmore Company, all CDL holders must keep their DOT medical card current, using a company‑approved physician.
This position requires being available 1st shift, 2nd shift, weekends and holidays.
