Job summary

Minnesota Coaches LLC is hiring a Part Time Type III Van Route Driver in Hastings, MN to safely transport passengers on assigned routes for schools, community organizations, and contracted clients. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, log routes, and communicate with dispatch to handle delays, while upholding DOT regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous professional driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and follow assigned routes.
• Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, or split shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van on assigned routes and schedules.
• Transport passengers to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT and state transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate route logs and required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior.
• Provide professional and courteous service to passengers and clients.
• Follow company safety standards and emergency procedures.
