Job summary

Minnesota Coaches LLC is seeking a Van Route Driver to safely transport passengers on assigned routes in compliance with company policies and DOT regulations. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatch to manage delays or changes.

The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service while operating company vehicles on local routes for schools, community organizations, and contracted clients.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous professional driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and follow assigned routes.
• Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, or split shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van on assigned routes and schedules.
• Transport passengers to and from designated locations in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT and state transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate route logs and required documentation; communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior.
• Provide professional and courteous service to passengers and clients.
• Follow company safety standards and emergency procedures.
