Job description

Van Drivers in our Transportation Department in Kingston work split shifts (mornings and afternoons), Monday through Friday, transporting individuals with disabilities. Drivers must exhibit a high degree of competence and responsibility for the safety of passengers being transported.

A high school diploma or GED is desired. A valid New York State Class B or C driver's license with/without Passenger Endorsement, or Class D, and a driving record acceptable to The Arc Mid-Hudson, along with basic computer knowledge, are required. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment.

We offer paid CDL training! New hires are expected to successfully obtain a CDL license with Passenger Endorsement within 90 days of their first day of employment.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with variable split shifts according to the route schedule.

STARTING SALARY:

$18.62 to $20.49 for Drivers without CDL/Passenger endorsement.

$20.62 to $22.69 for Drivers with CDL/Passenger endorsement.
