Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Transportation Concierge/Van Driver to provide safe, reliable transport for residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips. You will maintain logs, keep the van clean, and assist with activities as needed.

The role requires a clean driving record, valid license for the vehicle type, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist wheelchair mobility. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings, is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a clean driving record and DMV history.
• Valid driver’s license for vehicle type used by the community.
• Polite, patient, and able to work with residents, visitors, and staff.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with wheelchair mobility.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including some weekend and evening hours.
• Must represent the residence professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide van transportation to residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips sponsored through the activity department.
• Maintain mileage log, repair log, and expenses records as required.
• Keep van clean inside and out and report needed maintenance.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor and Harmony Senior Services immediately.
• Assist Activities/Programming Department with activities as assigned.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings; follow department policies.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

The Transportation Concierge/Van Driver will provide safe transportation services to residents of the community.* Provide van transportation to the residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips sponsored through the activity department* Assist in developing routes and schedules based on resident needs and requests* Keep appropriate records. Maintain mileage log, repair log, trip and expenses as required* Keep receipts for expenses and submit them to Life Enrichment Director* Keep van clean inside and out. Ensure routine maintenance and needed repairs are performed in a timely manner* Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor and Harmony Senior Services immediately* Assists Activities/Programming Department with activities as assigned* Maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the department* Attends all required in-services and staff meetings* Completes all other duties as assignedRequirements:* Must have a High School Diploma or GED* Must have a safe driving record and provide a copy of DMV record to Executive Director* Must have current driver’s license designated to permit operating the type of vehicle used by the community* Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, co-workers and supervisor* Must be organized and willing to work with others as part of a team* Must be physically and mentally capable of performing job duties* Must be able to ascend and descend stairs frequently, operate a wheelchair lift, and push a resident in a wheelchair* Must be able to represent the residence in a professional manner with neat dress and courteous manner. May be required to wear designated uniform* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some weekend and evening hours* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
