Early Childhood Education Support Staff

Salary: USD 15 - 17 Hourly

Child Prodigy South is a licensed childcare center seeking a full-time Van Driver/School Age Teacher.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Class E or Chauffeur's license
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Must be 23 years of age or older
• Previous childcare experience is a plus

Shift and Compensation:

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Compensation: $15-$17/hour, based on education and experience

Main Responsibilities:

• Transport children daily, adhering to state and health regulations
• Complete required paperwork promptly and communicate with the director
• Communicate effectively with parents
• Assist with coordinating field trips and communicate logistics
• Mentor and train substitute bus drivers
• Maintain the vehicle according to regulations
• Keep the bus clean, orderly, and safe
• Perform physical activities around children (sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing stairs)
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs, fulfilling physical requirements
