Job summary

Courtyard Portland North is looking for a Van Driver to create memorable guest experiences by ensuring safe transportation for our guests. Your role will include prompt pickup and delivery as well as engaging with guests during their travels.

• Assist in other hotel departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport and ensure prompt pickup or delivery of guests and their belongings.
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel facilities and the surrounding neighborhood in order to answer guest questions and make local recommendations for places of interest.
• Handle all guest complaints, questions or requests efficiently and satisfactorily.
• Ensure the van(s) are clean, in good condition and have adequate gasoline at all times.
• Assist in other departments of the hotel based on business demands and hotel needs.

Qualifications

This position requires that you have a Class B Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Previous customer service experience is preferred. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal communication skills. You must be able to drive, read, write, type and use basic technology. You must also be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
