Laurel Park Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a Transportation Driver. The role schedules medical transportation for residents and provides wheelchair transport as needed, with the potential to work every other weekend on Saturdays from 5am to 1pm.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and ideally at least one year of experience in transportation.

Qualifications

• One year experience in transportation role (preferred).

Summary/Objective

In keeping with our organization’s goal of improving the lives of the residents we serve; the Transportation Aide is responsible for scheduling medical transportation for resident appointments and providing wheelchair transportation as needed. Applicant will need to have a clean driving record, no special certification needed to drive the wheelchair van, and will need to physically be able to push/pull/lift 30 lbs.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Education and Experience

• One year experience in transportation role.
