Laurel Park Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring a Transportation Driver to support resident appointments with wheelchair transport and timely service. The role requires a clean driving record, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 30 lbs.

Summary/Objective

In keeping with our organization’s goal of improving the lives of the residents we serve; the Transportation Aide is responsible for scheduling medical transportation for resident appointments and providing wheelchair transportation as needed. Applicant will need to have a clean driving record, no special certification needed to drive the wheelchair van, and will need to physically be able to push/pull/lift 30 lbs.

Required Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Education And Experience

• One year experience in transportation role.
