Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is seeking a part-time Bus Driver at Oscar Lasko YMCA in West Chester, PA. You will ensure safety checks, maintain the vehicle, and transport children according to schedules and policy.

Required is a minimum age of 21, a good driving record, and annual online defensive driving certification with 3 years of bus driving experience preferred. Benefits include free YMCA membership and insurance options.

Qualifications

• 3 years of bus driving experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Annual completion of online defensive driving required.
• Good driving record required (Checked annually).
• Obtain and maintain all additional new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and check the safety and operational effectiveness of the vehicle. Report any safety concerns to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain the vehicle in good working order and ensure maintenance has been performed; ensure the vehicle is fueled.
• Maintain trip schedule for children as defined by staff.
• Drive YMCA vehicles safely according to YMCA policies, procedures and state laws.

What You’ll Do
