Shalom Parkside Senior Living in Richmond, VA is seeking a dependable Van Driver to transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community events. You will assist residents in and out of the vehicle, ensure comfort and safety, and perform routine vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a passenger van, shuttle, or medical transport preferred.
• Ability to assist residents with wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must meet background screenings and driver eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments, dialysis, and outings.
• Assist residents with entering/exiting the vehicle, including mobility aids.
• Ensure residents are transported safely, comfortably, and on time.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of transportation vehicles.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility policies.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, schedulers, residents, and families.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing the facility.

Shalom Parkside Senior Living is seeking a dependable, caring, and safety-focused Van Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll provide transportation services for our residents, ensuring they arrive safely and comfortably to medical appointments, therapy sessions, community outings, and other scheduled destinations.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments, dialysis treatments, and community outings

• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility limitations

• Ensure residents are transported in a safe, comfortable, and timely manner

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of facility transportation vehicles

• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility transportation policies

• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, schedulers, residents, and families

• Provide exceptional customer service while representing the facility in the community

Qualifications
