Eden Prairie Public Schools seeks a Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school and related programs. The role uses district vans and covers routes within Eden Prairie and the Twin Cities metro, including students with special needs who require patience and consistent support.
The position follows a split shift from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 1:45 PM to 4:45 PM, 178 working days per year, with a minimum 3.5 hours per day; a CDL is not required, and paid training is provided.
Van Driver
The van driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and school‑related programs using district-owned vans or other approved district vehicles. Routes may include transportation within Eden Prairie Schools and throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Students transported may include students with special needs requiring patience, professionalism, and consistent support. This position follows a split‑shift schedule with morning and afternoon route responsibilities and offers a minimum guarantee of 3.5 hours per day. No Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Paid training is provided.
