Job summary

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Minneapolis is seeking a part-time driver to transport students in the Twin Cities metro area. This role does not require a CDL and offers morning and afternoon shifts with occasional Friday work.

You will operate a school van, perform basic vehicle checks, and coordinate with Dispatch and School staff to ensure safe, on-time transportation. The position emphasizes reliability, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and DOT

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid MN driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Pass a criminal background check (upon job offer).
• Pass a Department of Transportation physical exam and drug test (upon job offer).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from work sites.
• Communicate route issues with Dispatch, Transportation Manager, or Work Program managers.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
• Assist with fueling, cleaning, and maintaining vehicles.
• Assist with additional transportation needs of the school as needed.

About Us: Are you looking for a steady part-time driving job that does not require a CDL? Are you comfortable driving around the Twin Cities Metro area during both AM and PM rush hour?

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is a high school located in the Phillips neighborhood of south Minneapolis. Our mission is to serve and educate under-resourced students and families in the Jesuit tradition as a Catholic College and Career Preparatory School.

Pay: $22.75 per hour

Benefits: State of MN Earned Sick and Safe Time, MN Paid Family and Medical Leave, 401(k) with employer match

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 9:30 am (shifts vary, approximate start and end times)

Monday - Thursday 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm (shifts vary, approximate start and end times)

Occasional work available on Fridays

Duties:

• Safely transport students to and from work sites
• Communicate any route issues with Dispatch, Transportation Manager, or Work Program managers
• Daily inspection of vehicles
• Assist with fueling, cleaning, and maintaining vehicles
• Assist with additional transportation needs of the school on an as-needed basis

Requirements:
