Job summary

Community Counseling Center in Marble Hill, MO is hiring for a full-time PSR support/van transportation role within the Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) program. The position covers routine transport to PSR activities and assisting staff with clerical, kitchen duties, and group activities.

Base pay is $16.42–$18.82 per hour for a non-exempt role. A high school diploma and MO Class E driver’s license are required, along with proof of continuous auto insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL residents), and proof of continuous Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide protective oversight of clients; monitor the condition of the clients.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of the clients according to policies and procedures.
• Assist and guide clients in performance of tasks and responsibilities of PSR program, i.e. Cleaning, cooking, group activities.
• Assist in intervention during crisis situations when needed.
• Maintain positive attitude toward agency and clientele.
• Provide support to PSR Specialist and Manager as assigned.
• Transport to and from PSR all members deemed eligible for transportation services.

Location: Marble Hill, MO

Full Time: Non-Exempt

Base Pay: $16.42 - $18.82 per hour

The Program:

The Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) program in the counties of Bollinger, Cape, Madison, Perry, and Ste. Genevieve provide a variety of supportive and rehabilitative services to individuals living with chronic mental illnesses. PSR offers opportunities for educational, career, social, and recreational activities on-site and in the community. The program serves adult clients 18 years of age or older and operates five or more days each week, and with the evening activities often planned. Vans owned by the center will transport members to the PSR and for the community based on activities.

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing support to consumers and PSR staff and is responsible for the routine transport of consumers to and from the PSR program; Assists PSR staff with activities which include clerical, kitchen duties, group work or other activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL residents), and proof of continuous Auto Insurance.

Job Duties:

1. Provide protective oversight of clients; monitor the condition of the clients.
2. Ensure the safety and welfare of the clients according to policies and procedures.
3. Assist and guide clients in performance of tasks and responsibilities of PSR program, i.e. Cleaning, cooking, group activities.
4. Assist in intervention during crisis situations when needed.
5. Maintain positive attitude toward agency and clientele.
6. Provide support to PSR Specialist and Manager as assigned.
7. Transport to and from PSR all members deemed eligible for transportation services. Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the van if needed.
8. Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
9. Report any problems with the operation of the van. Have van serviced when needed and keep accurate records on van maintenance.
10. Maintain necessary records for the number of clients transported.
11. Operate van according to DMH Licensure and CPRC Certification standards
12. Provide non-routine transportation services as assigned and as available.
13. Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
