Job summary

Community Counseling Center (CCC) seeks a PSR Aide to support consumers and staff in the Psychosocial Rehabilitation program. The role involves routine transport to and from the program and assisting with clerical, kitchen duties, and group activities.

Responsibilities include ensuring client safety, guiding participation in tasks, and providing crisis intervention when needed. The position includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to a supportive community program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL residents) by start date.
• Proof of continuous Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide protective oversight of clients; monitor the condition of the clients.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of the clients according to policies and procedures.
• Assist and guide clients in performance of tasks and responsibilities of PSR program, e.g. cleaning, cooking, group activities.
• Assist in intervention during crisis situations when needed.
• Maintain positive attitude toward agency and clientele.
• Provide support to PSR Specialist and Manager as assigned.
• Transport to and from PSR all members deemed eligible for transportation services. Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the van if needed.
• Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
• Report any problems with the operation of the van. Have van serviced when needed and keep accurate records on van maintenance.
• Maintain necessary records for the number of clients transported.
• Operate van according to DMH Licensure and CPRC Certification standards
• Provide non-routine transportation services as assigned and as available.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.

The Psychosocial Rehabilitation, or PSR, Program is open six (6) days a week, Monday - Saturday. As a PSR Aide, your typical work day is from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday, there is one evening shift a week (approx. 7:30pm), and staff rotate Saturday (8:00am - 4:30pm) coverages.
