Job summary

Ovation Holdings Inc. is seeking a skilled Valve Technician to install, inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial valves across power generation, manufacturing, oil & gas, and chemical processing industries.

The role blends shop and field service with travel expectations. You'll work with a team to diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years mechanical/industrial maintenance preferred.
• Experience repairing/maintaining industrial valves or rotating equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial valves and components.
• Test and calibrate valve performance to specifications and standards.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform corrective repairs to restore reliability.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and technicians to complete projects safely.
