Job summary

Millennium Power Services is seeking an experienced Valve Technician to install, repair, test and maintain industrial valves in the field and in our shop. You'll work on customer sites across a variety of industries, solving valve problems and keeping critical equipment running reliably.

Travel is approximately 50-70%. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, testing, documentation and on-site communication with customers and engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or valve certifications are a plus.
• Experience as a Valve Technician or in a related mechanical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision tools and measuring instruments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50-70%.

Job Summary

Millennium Power Services is seeking an experienced Valve Technician to install, repair, test and maintain industrial valves in the field and in our shop. You'll work on customer sites across a variety of industries, solving valve problems and keeping critical equipment running reliably. This role is a great fit for a hands-on mechanic who takes pride in quality work. Travel is approximately 50-70%.

Responsibilities

• Valve Installation and Maintenance: Install, inspect, repair and maintain control, safety, relief, gate, globe and ball valves and actuators. Diagnose valve issues and carry out corrective actions.
• Testing and Calibration: Test and calibrate valves to industry standards and customer specifications using precision tools and instruments. Recommend preventive measures to extend valve life and reliability.
• Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of installations, repairs and maintenance. Complete job reports with findings, recommendations and work performed.
• Team and Customer Communication: Work with field supervisors, project managers, engineers and customers to plan and complete jobs, and provide technical support on site.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all company, customer and OSHA safety requirements and industry standards on every job.
• Flexibility: Work flexible shifts, weekends and outages as job schedules require.
