Job summary

Millennium Power Services is seeking an experienced Valve Technician to install, repair, test and maintain industrial valves in the field and in our shop. You'll work on customer sites across a variety of industries, solving valve problems and keeping critical equipment running reliably.

Travel is approximately 50-70%. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, testing, documentation and on-site communication with customers and engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or valve certifications are a plus.
• Experience as a Valve Technician or in a related mechanical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision tools and measuring instruments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50-70%.

Responsibilities

• Valve installation and maintenance, including inspection and repair of multiple valve types.
• Test and calibrate valves to industry standards and customer specs.
• Document installations, repairs and maintenance with detailed reports.
• Communicate with field supervisors, project managers, engineers and customers on-site.
• Follow safety requirements and industry standards on every job.
• Work flexibly with shifts, weekends and outages as schedules require.
