Tenneco Inc. is seeking a dedicated manufacturing operator to run valve seat insert presses and associated furnaces. The role requires reading production orders, inspecting outputs, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will work in a unionized, fast-paced environment with opportunities for training and advancement as level 1 progresses to level 2. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior related experience encouraged.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum one year related experience or training.

Responsabilidades

• Operate valve seat insert presses and furnace equipment; monitor temperatures and cycle times.
• Read routers and production schedules for product specifications (dimensions, tolerance, parts).
• Record inspection data using logs and computer systems; ensure conformance to specifications.
• Identify and report potential issues; assist with preventative measures to meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Follow safety rules, TPMs, and environmental/health requirements; maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Perform level-1 training; progress to level-2 duties as required.
