Flow Control Group is hiring an on-site valve technician in Calvert City, KY. The role supports valve disassembly, calibration, and certification, with an emphasis on safety and quality procedures.

The candidate will operate equipment, document data, and collaborate with offices on repair requirements, with opportunities for field work and travel. A high school diploma or GED is required, with trade schooling preferred and forklift certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school degree preferred.
• Ability to learn our trade and use hand and power tools.
• Safe working attitude and attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Organized with good time management and reliability.
• Forklift certificate preferred; willingness to obtain if not held.
• Ability to travel and maintain a clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality procedures and regulations.
• Operate equipment such as overhead hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, torch.
• Disassemble valves without damaging parts per manuals.
• Document job data in ValvKeep and photograph activities.
• Coordinate with office on repair requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Assemble, calibrate and certify valves per manuals.
• Assist in field assignments when required.
• Travel and work at varying elevations as needed.
