Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years valve repair experience.
• Familiar with tools and machinery used to perform daily valve repair duties.
• Experience repairing valves and actuators (pneumatic, hydraulic or electric).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals; write routine reports; speak to groups.
• Perform basic math for measurements and interpreting instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and testing of various valves, including ball, gate, butterfly and safety relief valves.
• Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves.
• Follow schematics and procedures per Quality Control and ASME standards.
• Complete calibration and documentation related to testing and repairs.
• Travel to job sites and comply with site safety requirements.
• Provide timely updates to management and customers; work with team to solve problems.
