Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Mechanical Planner - Valve Maintenance I to work on-site with our client in Richland, WA. You will plan and prepare mechanical work packages for the Construction and Project Management organization on large and small projects, ensuring safety, reliability and code compliance.

Responsibilities include selecting materials, coordinating with Work Management, Supply, Operations and Engineering, field walkdowns, and ensuring high-quality work packages that meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business and 4+ years in commercial nuclear power plant experience, or 6+ years in such experience.
• Experience with Passport and Primavera.
• PMP certification is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare work instructions for Mechanical-Electrical and contract maintenance teams for projects and modifications.
• Select materials and approve purchases for work package execution.
• Conduct field walkdowns to refine work package quality and identify issues.
• Coordinate with Work Management, Supply, Operations and Engineering to resolve work package issues.
• Define procedures, drawings, equipment and materials for planned work packages.
• Prepare and submit OOSs, RWPs, and related regulatory and safety documentation.
• Review work packages to ensure compliance with procedures and codes.
